Dryvit’s Reputation For Excellence Showcased In Builder Magazine 2001 Brand Use Study.

- The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language

We all like to think that we have a good reputation. Ironically, our perception about our own reputation is the one opinion that matters the least.   Rather, reputation is, as the above definition states, based on the “general estimation” that others have of us.  Other people’s perceptions and opinions are what shape and form our reputation.

Builder, the magazine of The National Association of Home Builders, recently published the results of a study they commissioned called the “Builder’s 2001 Brand Use Study” to ascertain what builders thought—their perceptions and opinions—of 69 product categories, from hot water dispensers to hand tools.

More than 2,200 builders participated by responding to the study.  Builders were asked which brands they recognized and used the most.  Moreover, the builders were asked to rate each product’s quality and judge which companies excelled at communicating with builders.

In the product category for EIFS/Stucco siding, builders gave Dryvit a clean sweep as Dryvit topped the proverbial charts with builders in all five (5) categories.

“We’re gratified and delighted by the study’s findings,” said Peter Balint, President of Dryvit Systems, Inc.    “We greatly value builder’s opinions and strive everyday to put products in their tool boxes that enhance their productivity. High quality products as well as high quality people is the winning combination that makes Dryvit the first choice of claddings with builders.”

Redex, an independent research firm, conducted the study.  The results were published in the April 2001 edition of Builder Magazine (www.builderonline.com).
